The Kipfashion internship program is 8-10 weeks program created to identify leaders within the Community. We crafted the program to engage highly skilled and talented individuals to serve as team member and decision makers within the company.

We are seeking highly motivated, dynamic and resourceful individuals, but we also want people who love our mission and are excited to take Kipfashion and African inspired Fashion to new levels. Kipfashion interns will be decision makers in their own right, so they must be confident and they must know how to take initiative. We want people who are excited about transforming lives and excited about changing perceptions of the African continent.


How are we going to share African Fashion with the world? That is what the Kipfashion Marketing Fellow will be tasked with. This person will serve as a Kipfashion ambassador while innovating exciting and unique ways to grow our community. This person will use social media, our newsletter, our magazine and other funnels to reach our target audience. Most importantly, this person will also look for new ways to engage our community and get them excited about the many designers who sell within the Kipfashion Marketplace.

Our designers are the people who breath life into our marketplace. Without them there would be no marketplace. The Business Development Fellow will be someone who is an advocate for the sellers. This person will work very closely with our sellers and help them to maximize their potential in the marketplace to help them improve sales and overall brand quality. Equally important, this fellow will also source and onboard new designers to join the marketplace. The ideal candidate for this position would be someone who has experience in the ecommerce and/or fashion /retail space.

A core component to the Kipfashion mission is storytelling. The Visual Imagery and Photography Fellow will be an incredibly creative person who has a good eye for aesthetics. This person will oversee the Kipfashion website, magazine and social media channels to ensure a consistent brand story is being presented. The fellow will also serve as an advisor to Kipfashion sellers and guide them in creating better and more consistent visual stories. The ideal fellow will have experience in fashion photography.

At Kipfashion, story telling is an integral part of business ethics. The Editorial intern will be a master storyteller and will lead Kipfashion’s editorial content. This person will be a talented writer who knows how to curate and write stories that will represent Kipfashion’s brand. As an Editorial intern you will shape the tone of our digital content and find opportunities to further integrate storytelling into the Kipfashion platform.
